Cara and Maren are getting married

Growing up, the Martin family had bees. The kids harvested honey and captured hives.
Thus, it seems rather fitting that Cara met Maren on Bumble. A little bit of her past bringing her the future.
As the two planned to meet for the first time, Maren described herself as a “late in life coffee drinker.” Cara immediately had her suspicions. And they were dead on! Both Cara and Maren were raised in big old Mormon families, each the third of six kids. With that shared history and family background, there was so much between them that never had to be explained.
They met for coffee and the rest is history. (Although Cara almost did not go in when she saw Maren’s bright red car with her MRN plates and Stanford license plate frames!). Lucky for Maren, Cara gave her a shot and dutifully spilled coffee down her front as they laughed for hours. Cara and Maren met up again on Saturday and then Sunday. By then, Maren was totally smitten with “Madam Potter” (as she called her).
A year and a half later, Cara surprised Maren with the perfect engagement and they can’t wait for their forever to officially begin!
